Department of Industrial Engineering at the Tarsus University Faculty of Engineering housing leading experts in the field and experienced academic staff awaits first applicants in the 2021-2022 school year calendar. In the department, undergraduate and graduate education programs lessons are conducted at least 30% English.
Our alumni will not only come up with a solution to current problems but also they will be capable of responding to challenging future problems. The department is composed of two sections: Industrial Engineering and Operations Research. Our curriculum was prepared in a way that considered ivy league universities and the needs of the industry that is progressively improving. In the department that adopts national and international standards of accreditation as a principle, we not only offer fundamental and professional courses (e.g., Operations Research, Production Planning and Control, Quality Management, Production Systems, Supply Chain Management, Probability Theory, Statistics, Work-Study, and Ergonomics) but also technical and social elective courses that will provide insights. During the education, Industrial Engineering candidates will gain experience through courses and internships. Our students will also have an opportunity to gain another diploma under the dual undergraduate program by taking additional courses from other departments and minor certificates in different relevant programs. Moreover, Erasmus, Mevlâna, and Farabi Student Exchange Programs allow students to experience education and internship at other national and international universities.
