  1. Sufficient knowledge in mathematics, life sciences, and relevant engineering disciplinary, and the ability to use them in complex engineering problems.
  2. The ability to identify, defining, formulating, and solving complex engineering problems; the ability to choose and implementing suitable analytical and modeling techniques.
  3. The ability to meet particular needs of a complex system, process, device, and product under realistic constraints, and the capability of implementing modern modeling tools.
